Support Jiaai's Family and Advocate for Worker Safety

Hello, I’m setting up this fundraiser to honor the memory of Jiaai Zeng, a Christian who moved to the US in 2023, hoping to start a new life supporting his family. Tragically, he passed away while working at a marijuana farm in Oklahoma. This campaign is crucial as it not only commemorates Jiaai but also aims to raise awareness and advocate for better working conditions in similar environments.

Jiaai's story is particularly important to me because it highlights the severe challenges and risks that workers can face in such workplaces. His untimely death, following a worsening illness and harsh working conditions, underscores the need for attention and improvement in worker safety and health standards.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used in several key ways. A significant portion will support Jiaai’s family, who are currently in China and relied on him as their primary source of income. His family includes his disabled father, a wife with mental health challenges, two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. These funds will help alleviate their immediate financial burdens and support their ongoing needs.

曾加爱，一位来自福建省福州市永泰县的57岁普通农民，为了给家庭一个更好的未来，负债于2023年1月踏上美国的土地。今年三月，为了尽早还清沉重的债务，他在俄克拉荷马州一家大麻种植厂找到了工作。

他的家庭生活条件非常艰难：75岁的父亲残疾，依赖他的照顾，妻子则长期受到精神健康问题的折磨。 不幸的是，在4月12日，曾加爱在大麻厂中意外去世，死因尚未明确。自从三月份起，他每天至少需要在高温和恶劣的环境中劳作13小时。健康、诚实和勤奋一直是他的标签，他的突然离世令亲朋好友感到震惊和难以接受。 接到丈夫去世的噩耗后，他的妻子精神状态急剧恶化，全家人都难以面对没有他的生活。这一消息对于已经处于精神压力之下的家庭来说，无疑是致命的打击。

目前，俄克拉荷马州的相关部门已经介入调查他的死因。尽管如此，农场的不良安全标准和疏忽管理很可能是导致他悲剧的重要因素。他在中国的家人正处于极度悲痛之中，面对重重生活压力感到异常无助。
