They have also played a key role in addressing major health challenges like HIV/AIDS, malaria, and infectious diseases.

Jhpiego has been significantly impacted by recent cuts to US federal grants, like USAID. Then Jhpiego had to lose operations, lay off employees, and scale back its international programs.
