Jhpiego has achieved many things in child health such as cancer care, trained healthcare providers, improved quality of services, and increased access to essential health services in numerous countries. They have also played a key role in addressing major health challenges like HIV/AIDS, malaria, and infectious diseases.
Jhpiego has been significantly impacted by recent cuts to US federal grants, like USAID. Then Jhpiego had to lose operations, lay off employees, and scale back its international programs.
