Hi there! We are Jewel and Calexico, and we are best of friends!! We live in our camper van that we built out from scratch for living purposes, and there's a reason for that. We believe, and also see in other people, that paying to live and to have our needs provided is NOT how us beautiful humans should be existing. Instead, we believe in community, and in helping one another find what we need, barter for what we need, and give out of the goodness of our hearts, and not out of the survival instinct to get the most out of people.

In this late-stage capitalistic society that we all live in, we are bred to only look out for ourselves, with total disregard to those whose needs aren't being provided for, and it pains our hearts. No, we are not lazy; we just see a world that works in unison with itself, and not the world we see today that brings some people up and puts many others down. As providers for ourselves and others, your charitable donation would go to helping serve others in need, not just to ourselves. Even though we have very little to give, we give where we can, even if that means lovingly shouting "I love you!!" to someone on the street that is asking for food or money.

If you find it in your heart to want to be a person that gives where you can, please consider donating to our charitable cause of paying it forward, and to help us sustain our life of common unity (community). ❤️
