My name is Jessica. I am going through a very difficult time right now. My youngest son's father was always abusive to me both physically and mentally. I removed myself and children from the situation to protect all of us. My sons and I are safe now; however, my ex has been given custody rights for my youngest son (oldest is now 18).

After the last custodial visit, my son is now very afraid of his father. He does not even want to talk to him on the phone and tells me he is afraid of his dad.

I have applied to various places for legal help based on events that happened at the last custodial visit but have not found any lawyer willing to accept my case pro bono or at a lower price. I do not have money to spare to fight another prolonged custody battle or temporarily prevent the summer visit. Our family is barely surviving with the meager earnings from my jobs. I cannot speak to my ex about any of this as he still continues to threaten me.

Please, I need help to obtain the necessary legal help to protect my son! I need to be able to defend/protect my little one from any further aggression from his father.
