Support Jessica's Journey to Health Recovery

I am creating this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of my dear friend Jessica. Jessica is a compassionate, generous, and loving individual. She excels in her roles as a nurse, friend, mother, daughter, and sister. She’s blessed with a beautiful voice, and although she’s been hindered, she still perseveres and continues to praise God on the worship team at her church. Jessica is a single mom to two boys, Lucas-12, and Max-9. They mean the world to her and she is a gentle, selfless mother. Her boys are hilarious and a joy to be around.

I met Jessica when she became my son’s home care nurse about 4 years ago. She has been such a blessing to me and my family! It’s hard to find someone who is kind, competent, and shows up every day. Jessica was all of this and so much more. She went above and beyond to help my son and our family. She’s always strived to keep a smile on her face and encourage others, no matter what was going on.

Jessica has been facing significant challenges in her life, particularly concerning her health. Three months ago, she underwent a major surgery to remove a tumor, a paraganglioma, from her head. The tumor had grown and spread into lymph nodes in her neck. As a result of this procedure, she has experienced a plethora of nerve damage that has rendered her unable to work. We miss her dearly, and her bills are starting to pile up. Her journey isn’t over. Despite the surgeons best efforts, the tumor is not gone completely. In addition to her weekly rehabilitation therapy appointments, she will undergo many more tests and radiation therapy in the upcoming months. Any assistance with her daily living expenses for herself and her children would be immensely appreciated. She has given so much to us, and this is our chance to help give back.
