My name is Marybeth Welch and my oldest daughter, Jessica Eiland, has been suffering for many years with Chronic Kidney Disease. She has recently reached stage 5 of the disease which means we are approaching the point where she will have to have a kidney transplant. The costs associated with this type of surgery and recovery process are quite expensive therefore we are creating a go fund me page to help her offset the expenses. After her surgery she will be required to stay in a hotel or an apartment in Birmingham, AL, and since I will her her caretaker, I will be helping her with her daily care and meal preparation, all of these things will create the bulk of the costs. We are also looking for a kidney donor, the donor will not be required to pay anything for their surgery as all of their expenses will be covered.
