Support Jessica and Michael in Their Time of Need

My name is Katie Moore, and I am fundraising on behalf of my friend and fellow church member, Jessica Burgoon, and her son, Michael. Jessica, has been in a tough spot financially over the past few years due to mental health crises, difficulties finding work, and a variety of unfortunate life events (such as car repairs, having her car unexpectedly towed, and her son aging out of her disability benefits).

Jessica is currently in-between jobs and in the process of applying and interviewing to find something full-time to help provide for herself and her son, who is her dependent. Jessica is currently receiving Social Security Disability Income, but she stopped receiving dependent benefits for her son since he turned 18. This has created a large discrepancy in the funding she has previously been able to acquire for her and her son's costs of living. She is in need of around $900 a month, but we are only asking for one month's worth of assistance for now.

I met Jessica through a small group at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV), and she has consistently been kind and hard-working despite her struggles. I would love to see others join me in assisting her while she is currently significantly in need. Thank you in advance for any amount that you are willing and able to give!
