Support Jessica and Dario's Fight for Their Foster Daughter
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out to you on behalf of my daughter Jessica, her husband Dario, and a special little girl who has formed a beautiful bond with us, her foster family. Your support and prayers would mean the world to all of us during this time!
For those who may not know them well, Jessica and Dario possess a remarkable passion for justice, particularly when it comes to advocating for innocent children and animals. This deep commitment is truly woven into the fabric of their lives, and I have great admiration for the way they stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Jessica and Dario have always had a special way with children—whether it's their nieces, nephews, godchildren, or the kids of close friends. Children naturally gravitate toward them; they earn their trust while balancing playfulness with a sense of parental safety. They radiate warmth, kindness, and love, providing a nurturing environment for all the little ones in their lives.
Jessica and Dario have dedicated their careers to supporting children in need through their work in the county's special education department. Currently, Jessica is part of a team that develops systems to support educators, reflecting her deep passion for helping kids. After struggling with infertility for too many long years, she and Dario courageously decided to pursue fostering with the hope of adoption.
When I asked Jessica why she chose to foster, she shared with me a year ago, "Mom, if we can make a positive impact in a child's life, even if it's just for a few weeks, that child may not remember us, but deep down, they'll feel loved and know they have a supportive extended family. That's what will make fostering meaningful for me."
Their dream of becoming parents finally seemed within reach when they received a call about a newborn baby girl, whose biological mom had signed off parental rights, in need of a safe, loving home. Just two days old, this precious baby was placed in their arms, and they became her parents in every sense of the word. From that moment, their lives changed forever.
The journey has been both beautiful and heart-wrenching. They’ve watched their foster daughter grow, learn, and thrive under their love and care. However, fostering brings challenges. After five and a half months, the biological mother ceased visits, and while the biological father has established himself, Jessica and Dario face the gut-wrenching uncertainty of potentially losing their 1 year old "daughter" and fear for her well-being.
They are fighting with everything they have to protect this sweet girl, whom they have poured so much love into. But the road ahead is long, and the battle is taking an emotional and financial toll. They are now at a point where they must hire an attorney to navigate the legal process and ensure their foster daughter’s safety and well-being.
This is why I’m reaching out to you all. They need our help. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards the legal fees essential to continue this fight. This is not just about winning a court case—it’s about giving this little girl the stability and love she deserves, ensuring she grows up surrounded by the safety and warmth that Jessica, Dario, and God have provided her during her first year. Now 13 months old, she displays an outgoing personality, full of giggles, self-assurance, and affection. She is smart and ahead of her developmental milestones, and her presence brings joy to the entire family. My husband and I view her as an answered prayer for our beloved children.
If you can, please consider donating to this cause. If you can’t, sharing their story is just as valuable. Every bit of support, every prayer, and every ounce of love means the world to us during this challenging time.
Thank you for standing with Jessica, Dario, and their beautiful foster daughter. Your kindness and generosity will make all the difference.
With heartfelt gratitude,
