Hello everyone, my name is Jessica Polk. As you all know, on June 13th, 2025, my mother, Beneta Polk, passed away. She battled chronic kidney disease and a multitude of other chronic conditions for the past few decades. Her heirs are me and my younger sister, Adrianna. Unfortunately, she left this world without forging a will for the children she left behind.

All is not lost as I will need to have the courts award me and my sister the right to her estate, but attorney fees are over our budget at the moment. Not to mention the amount of money I will need to restore the house.

The problem was that my mother made the mistake of letting an emotionally disturbed man live with her as a boyfriend and a caregiver. The positive is that he left in the allotted 30-day time period, but he took the fridge, microwave, washer, and dryer, and left the carpets and walls in disarray.

I know these funds may not be able to get a Johnny Cochran type lawyer or the most high-tech appliances, but it will at least start me off on this journey in getting my mother's house into a home for me and my sister. Thank you all and God bless!!
