Jessica and Merik experienced an unexpected and devastating house fire on the evening of November 30th. Thankfully, no one was home at the time of the fire, and their dogs, Kit and Zara, were safely able to get out. While we are so grateful that the entire family is physically safe, the emotional impact on Jess, Merik, and their kids has been heartbreaking. Losing their home so suddenly has left them all feeling displaced, unsettled, and overwhelmed as they try to make sense of everything.

While Jess and Merik focus on navigating the immediate aftermath and caring for their little family, we are setting up this GoFundMe on their behalf to support them as they begin the long and difficult process of rebuilding.
