Jess is an amazing mother to her two young daughters, Hannah and Brooke, and a dedicated wife to the love of her life, John. They recently decided to expand their family and went through some fertility treatments. It was not IVF. She spontaneously released five eggs and all five were fertilized. Once again, this was not an intentional thing, nor is it something that could’ve been predicted. So now she is almost 20 weeks pregnant with quintuplets! For those of you who don’t know, that is five babies tucked safely away in her belly. The babies are thriving; they’re growing at appropriate rates, and as of right now, there’s no sign of major complications.
But as you can imagine, while this news is exciting and yes, it’s a miracle in every aspect, this is also a very stressful time. There is constant worry about something going wrong because this is a very, very high-risk pregnancy. Not to mention, Jessica is an amazing mom to two little girls as it is while pregnant with quintuplets, and she has an amazing support system. Her husband is always there for her, and grandparents are there when needed.
And I think what amazes me personally the most is the fact that she is still working as an overburdened 911 dispatcher emergency medical services. As her first response family, we are trying to raise as much as possible to help alleviate this hardship that is coming to her. She has to take time off of work because of the high-risk pregnancy. Not to mention, the babies will probably be in the NICU (though I hope it’s for as short as possible), and there are the costs of buying supplies for five brand new babies.
We’re trying to help offset these costs, especially because we are a family at this company and we stand behind each other! Let’s show our amazing south dispatcher, who has a few years of seniority in dispatch as well as years spent in the field as a basic and an advanced! We started the goal on here. I’m gonna try and post a link to a registry if anybody would like to contribute to this it would be more appreciated than you could ever imagine. There will probably be some other little fundraising things with prizes as well in the near future. Please help in any aspect. You can donate any amount that you can!
This is truly a miracle and even more of a miracle that the pregnancy has been healthy so far for 20 weeks! And if you could send extra thoughts, prayers, or whatever you would like to do, send them her way and let’s show her all the support she has, especially at the company she works for! She needs to know that her company and her friends at work and the people that she takes care of and makes sure that they get home safe and she’s not sending them into unsafe situations always have her back. Let’s return some of that to her and her family. ♥️♥️♥️
