GoFundMe Deadline is September 15th.
Dear Jennings Beach Association Members,
Peace and tranquility together with a rich local history, Jennings Beach is among the best private beaches in our community. As the years have gone, residents have used the beach as a place to launch kayaks, watch the sunset, or take in the beautiful view with friends and family.
As we usher in new families and the beach gets used more frequently, we need to take time to plan and implement some changes to make the beach more safe and vibrant for our beachgoers.
Together, we can make a difference to restore, revitalize and renew our beach. The JBA Board approved plans to fundraise to improve our beach. Please donate to help us launch our summer 2024 Jennings Beach Revitalization Project. We hope to purchase new Plywood furniture, restore the cabana, and fix the parking area.
Last year, we were fortunate that JBA provided a new kayak rack and a new deck for the cabanas at no cost to residents. This year we need to do more to update our beach to meet the safety needs and comfort of our residents. A well maintained and revitalized beach adds value to our neighborhood and community.
We are planning a few events to bring our community together this summer. Please be on the lookout for information. Our first event will be to launch Oyster Gardens spearheaded by our resident member Eric Salem.
We've also launched a Facebook page to help us communicate with residents - Facebook: Jennings Beach Association and an Instagram: jennings_beach_association_li
Please feel free to donate in any denomination, but if you'd like specific guidance please donate in these increments. Please indicate what you'd like to contribute to in the notes.
We will engrave a beautiful boulder to recognize and honor donations to the 2024 Jennings Beach Revitalization Project for view and commemoration.
Thank you!
