Hi. My name is Stephanie and my friend Tabitha and I are reaching out to help our very dear friend, Jennifer, who is facing an unimaginable crisis. On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Albion, New York, there was a devastating roof collapse in Jennifer’s apartment building. At the time, Jennifer was traveling to another state due to a family emergency when she received the heartbreaking news. Jennifer is the primary caregiver for her 78-year-old father, who is in heart failure and has ongoing medical issues, as well as her two children who live with her.
Now, Jennifer and her family are unable to enter their apartment at all. The entire building has been fenced off, and they can’t retrieve any of their personal belongings. The landlord is denying liability and offering no assistance, and the building will not be repaired for at least four months. This has left Jennifer, her father, and her children suddenly homeless, with nowhere to turn and no access to the things they need most.
We are asking for your help to support Jennifer and her family during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will go directly toward food, clothing, gas, and first and last month’s rent for a new place to live. If you are able to help, no donation is too big or too small. If you’re unable to give financially, please keep Jennifer and her family in your prayers, as well as all the families who have been displaced. Your support means the world to her, and it’s in moments like these that our community’s kindness truly shines. Thank you so much for any help you can offer. ❤️
