Support Jenise Jones' Critical Medical Journey

Hello, my name is Tori, only child of an extraordinary lady, Jenise Jones. My mother has always been a major support in my life, so it is only right to do whatever it takes to make sure I do all that I can for her at this time.

March 3rd of this year, I arrived at my mom’s to pick up my 4yr old after I got off of work. She was disoriented, confused, her speech was impaired and had no idea who I was. She was rushed to the hospital where I was informed her body had went into keto acidosis and from that time on she has been diagnosed with multiple things. Staph infection that has now spread to her heart valves and brain (in which she has had brain surgery to drain the infection and is in recovery, still facing open heart surgery), several strokes, blood clots in her lungs, congestive heart failure, chronic kidney disease in which they are trying very hard to keep her from getting to a stage of needing dialysis.

She was fine. Walking, talking, driving, assisting me with my children all before March 3, 2025 changed the trajectory of life. She was self employed, her work ethic unmatched and is now frustrated that her health is restricting her ability to work. I was working a job that I love and being a mom of four. I’ve had to take a leave from work in which my job has been extremely gracious in my absence with still securing my position. I am now advocating for my mother in moments where she is not clear. Trying to handle her affairs and keep things from falling apart with little to no income. I don’t have all the necessary resources for her or myself in this situation. Any help given will be a blessing. Thank you.
