Hello, my name is Jeffrey butts. I had my children taken away from me over false allegations. Back in may 2024 there was a restraining order that was put on me by my ex wife that included our children. That restraining order was granted to her with no evidence presented. Just her word saying I hit her and threatened to beat her up. I was acquitted of those charges (proof in the photos) and have already spent close to $80,000 defending my self in all the criminal cases and in family court.

I’ve been seeing my children for 1 hour every Sunday for the last 18 months. That’s no way to raise your children, and im also at risk of them moving out of state which is what the mother is asking for. I’m fighting back and I have one more court date coming up on 1/6/26 which is my divorce trial. My lawyer has requested another $12,000 for her to complete the trial.

I work full time in the pipefitters union local 537 and pay $800 a week in child support along with all my ex wife’s bills (the mortgage and all utilities) due to a court order. Every penny I make goes to my attorney and her bills. Trial is right around the corner and I can only come up with $6,000. I was told yesterday by my attorney that if I don’t have the $12,000 paid in full 1/5/26 the day before trial that she will have to withdraw leaving me no representation for the most important day in not only my life but my children’s lives. Their future is at stake here.

Parental alienation is real and the children don’t deserve that. They deserve two loving parents in this lives . I am asking my family and friends and maybe a few strangers that have gone through the same terrible thing as me to donate in any way they can. I’ve never done anything like this before but i see no other way than to reach out and ask for help. My daughters and I appreciate any help that can be donated. Fathers matter!
