Support Jeff and Vanessa's Surrogacy Journey

We are Jeff and Vanessa Modica and we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support as we embark on a journey to expand our family through surrogacy. We have been together for ten years, married for two, and we have a beautiful son named Rory who is in heaven after eleven days of life. The decision to pursue surrogacy is not one we decided on easily. Vanessa was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian disease at the age of 15 which brought it's own fertility struggles within that diagnosis. The turning point was Vanessa's diagnosis of chronic kidney disease in 2019 which prevented Rory, and any future children, from growing to full term. With Vanessa's kidney's functioning at such a low rate it is too dangerous for not only her but also the baby. This process is a significant and emotionally charged step for us, but it comes with substantial financial demands that we cannot meet on our own. Vanessa is a 4th grade teacher and Jeff is a site supervisor for DashMart. We love being outdoors, spending time with our pets, our family at Sunday night dinner, watching the Royal's and Kansas City Chiefs win, and trying new restaurants. Your generous contributions will help cover the costs associated with medical procedures, legal fees, and other essential expenses involved in surrogacy.
