While the cost of adoption seems to be much, we’re hopeful and confident that if many of us join together we can ease the financial burden and support them in a beautiful, practical way.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

Thank you for taking a moment to read our story. It feels deeply personal to be sharing publicly, but we know it is time to be vulnerable, so with open hearts - here we go!

Our Journey So Far

In 2019, since the day we said I do, our heart’s desire has been to start a family. And, after a year of trying naturally to conceive with no success, we reached out to a fertility clinic for help. Since early 2021, we’ve been navigating the challenging and emotional road of infertility. We've undergone countless appointments and tests, endured a surgery to remove endometriosis, and faced several rounds of treatment to help us conceive - each one met with heartbreak and disappointment. Additionally, Tiffany was diagnosed with a heart condition which required corrective surgery last Spring.

Through it all, one thing has never wavered, and that is a deep longing and knowing that we are to have children. And, while biological children haven't been part of our story yet, we also know families can be beautifully created in many different and meaningful ways. Hello - looking at you, all of our friends who have adopted through foster care, private, and embryo adoption (wink).

How Did We Decide to Adopt?

Lovingly enough, during our dating years, we talked about adoption as something we wanted to pursue “one day.” Well, plot twist - that day arrived last Fall when we both felt a strong invitation from the Lord to step forward in faith and start the adoption process. Three days later, we received an incredible confirmation and there was no doubt God’s “go for it” was with us and we’ve been working hard towards adoption ever since.

We hired a consultant through Christian Adoption Consultants, took all the training, wrapped up our home study, and our profile books arrived last week! Which brings us to our next step - it’s time to start applying with agencies and attorneys.

The Cost of Adoption

Adoption is an incredibly intricate journey - and with it also comes significant financial challenges. In the US, the cost of a private adoption can range from $50,000 to $60,000+. And, upwards of $70,000+ for twins. These expenses typically include:
