Jeff is a close friend who recently endured a terrifying home invasion on May 11th. During the incident, he was assaulted by two individuals while another person stole several of his belongings, including Xbox controllers, a Chromebook laptop, a Bluetooth speaker, headphones, a phone charger, and his cellphone. The loss of these items has been devastating, especially since Jeff is already on disability and faces significant financial challenges.

Beyond the material loss, Jeff is dealing with the trauma and mental hurdles that come with such a violent event. He has a history of PTSD from a previous traumatic fall that led to his disability, and this recent experience has made his recovery even more difficult. The road ahead will not be easy, as Jeff continues to cope with both the emotional and practical impacts of the invasion.

I am organizing this fundraiser on Jeff’s behalf because I am able to withdraw the funds in the US. Once the funds are received, I will send them to Jeff electronically to ensure he gets the support he needs. The funds raised will help Jeff replace the stolen items, support his ongoing recovery, and cover any other needs that arise as he works to rebuild his life.
