Greetings from Carol, Gene, and Johnny. We are supporting our honorable friend, Jedediah Powell, a dedicated wildland firefighter, who recently experienced a devastating loss. On January 23, 2026, while Jedediah was inside a Home Depot in Denver, Colorado, his truck was broken into and his crucial tools were stolen. A police report was filed, and security cameras captured the incident. We are raising money to help Jedediah replace the stolen items so he can continue his important work.
Jedediah is a wildland firefighter. While others are running away from danger, Jedediah is running to it. Even before achieving the monumental goal of becoming a wildland firefighter, Jedediah's work ethic was clear. Carol first met Jedediah when he knocked on her door wondering if there were any odd jobs he could do for her. As a wheelchair user, there was a list of things she needed help with. She and Jedediah have been good friends ever since. Giving of himself is Jedediah's innate character.
During the firefighter off-season, Jedediah goes on mission trips with the church, using his strength and carpentry skills to ensure the continuous success of an orphanage. When he's not doing mission work, he's trimming trees and clearing debris for a company, friends, and neighbors. His work ethic is only matched by his strength in God. Everyone who encounters Jedediah is positively affected by him spiritually. His growth in our Lord and Savior is contagious.
We are so grateful for your gift, great and small. God bless your generosity.
