Help Jaydan Celebrate Remission at Disney

Hi,

As you all know, our sweet and amazing son Jaydan was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in November, which turned our entire world upside down. The most special boy, with the kindest heart and a positive attitude. Jaydan has been a fighter his entire life, since he was very young. He is not only fighting this terrible disease, but he is also overcoming all odds as he navigates his daily life with Autism.

Since then, he has been receiving treatment at Comer Children's Hospital (UChicago). Thanks to the incredible team of nurses, doctors, and all the staff, as well as the power of God and prayer, Jaydan is in remission and only has a few weeks left in the hospital. There's no better way to celebrate than visiting Disney, the most magical place! ❤️

We want Jaydan to have the best time possible while celebrating new experiences. He is the strongest boy and has not let anything break him. To know Jaydan is to love him; he is our little warrior. He is the best kid and has never let this terrible disease bring him down.

He has been courageous, resilient, and optimistic throughout his journey over the last few months. He mentioned going to Disney World, and that is the plan: to give Jaydan the best time of his life once he is officially done. We are incredibly proud of Jaydan! He deserves the best time, and to be able to press all the elevator buttons and take all the videos he wants with his iPad. He has been cleared by his doctors to go to Disney in September with the whole family! We can't wait to celebrate him and create new, happy memories as we reflect on this journey our family has taken.
