Today this child is celebrating the miracle of life with his loving mom, family, and friends. Born October 26 at 25 weeks, little Jayce is living proof that the evolution of human life has progressed and a developing embryo in the womb possesses enough life to sustain outside of the womb with the help of new medical science and technology. Stacey, his mom, is a beautiful young kindergarten school teacher for low-income and struggling schools. She gives her heart and devotes her time to giving these children the necessary tools to start school with. Many do not have coats, hats, and mittens or even snacks and food. She has always worked miracles for them to provide the essentials they need to have these things, teaching them the most important things in life. It takes a village to raise children.

Stacey never asks for anything for herself. She survives off the low paying income of teachers in the US. When she learned she was pregnant, it was a no-brainer for her to want to have this child even as a single mom. She would figure it out. Friends and family have been her support but she never asked for help except for helping her kids in school. Never asking for help for herself, she was doing well, and in October she had just found a new home to move in to for her child to grow up in, which was closer to her mom. However, on that same day, 25 weeks into the pregnancy, she suffered complications, and the doctors had to deliver the baby to save her and the child. On October 26, Jayce, smaller than the size of your hand, was born.

Beautiful tiny Jayce must spend the next few months in hospital care until he would have been considered full term, which is in February. His momma had to return to teaching and every day goes to the hospital to care for her baby. No easy task for anyone as a new parent. But like all parents, we do everything for our children. Stacey has shown how the love of a mom or parent will rise from within us all, providing super strength and ability to do whatever it takes to provide for her baby.

From October 26, when Jayce was born at 1 lb 15 oz, he has lived in NICU growing before our eyes. He has fought all odds to survive and develop into a healthy baby.

As always, this kind of miracle comes with a cost and sacrifice. This one miracle has an unknown cost. The mother, living on a tight budget teaching school, has had to spend more money than planned on traveling to the hospital every day and eating out more than she normally does. She has also list all of her paid vacation using them to be with her baby. The mounting medical bills have yet to arrive. When chase comes home she needs to stay home with him like every parent gets to do when they take their babies home. She can’t afford to do this now. The two reasons for this go fund me is to raise money fro Stacey to stay home a few weeks when Jayce is released and to help cover the months of medical bills if insurance does not

It’s the miracle time of year. Let’s give her another miracle and raise the money to help cover the medical bills so in February, Jayce will come home without the worries of medical bills and just his mom can focus on his health and future.
