Jay Hughes has been a dedicated member of Theta Chi's Alpha Phi chapter kitchen staff for the past two years, always going above and beyond to support our fraternity. He’s not just a hard worker—Jay is someone who brings warmth and positivity to our house every day, taking time to talk with our members and making sure both the kitchen and our home are well cared for. His commitment to our chapter has made him a valued part of our community, and we’re grateful for everything he does for us.

Recently, Jay’s family experienced a heartbreaking loss when his younger brother, Demarcus Boone, passed away at just 20 years old. The family is facing significant challenges, especially with the need to transport Demarcus’s body from Louisiana to Alabama for the funeral. This has created unexpected travel and funeral expenses that are difficult for Jay and his loved ones to manage on their own. The situation has been incredibly tough, and our fraternity wants to come together to support Jay and his family during this time.
