Jared Moving Funds

Thanks to the efforts of people willing to spread the word and the generosity of people who were able to donate, Jarred was able to escape an abusive situation, find temporary safe shelter, and make it to his SSI court date hearing! Jared has since been able to line up an apartment to rent in another state and make arrangements with others to transport himself and his belongings

Unfortunately, both of the arrangements he made with others to drive him and his belongings have fallen through. Because of Jared’s disabilities, he is not legally eligible for a driver's license. So far, neither he nor his social network has been able to find anyone willing or able to make alternative arrangements for his move date at the end of March. That’s why we have to ask again that people spare whatever they can to prevent Jared from becoming homeless within arm's reach of a somewhat safe and stable living situation

About Jared

Jared has Autism and ADHD, EhlersDanlos syndrome, suffers unpredictable seizures, and is escaping an abusive family. What he’s been through with his family and in the environments he has endured since has had severely detrimental effects on his mental and physical health. Jared is a good, honourable person who has exemplary ethics in his relationships with others. He is very reticent to ask for help, but his health conditions and disabilities make him more vulnerable than average to the dangers inherent in homelessness, so we are compelled to ask for help on his behalf
