Help Support My Sister in Her Battle Against Brain Cancer
My sister is an incredibly compassionate and selfless person. She is an oncology nurse who has dedicated her career to caring for cancer patients and supporting them through their hardest days. A couple of weeks ago, her world was turned upside down. She experienced a sudden focal seizure at work. After urgent medical tests, doctors discovered a tumor in her brain.
She underwent a craniotomy, and although the surgeons were able to remove most of the tumor, they could not remove it entirely. The pathology results revealed devastating news: the tumor is at least a grade 2 astrocytoma and could be as aggressive as a grade 4. This means it is incurable, and the outlook depends heavily on how quickly the cancer mutates.
In the coming weeks, she will undergo radiation and chemotherapy in the hope of slowing the tumor’s progression. Throughout all of this, she remains determined to fight, not just for herself, but for her two young children who adore their mom more than anything.
My sister has spent her career giving everything she has to her patients. Now, she’s the one who needs help. The emotional and financial strain of this diagnosis is overwhelming, and our family is doing everything we can to support her. Any contribution you can give, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden of medical bills, treatment costs, and time away from work, allowing her to focus on healing and spending precious time with her children.
We deeply appreciate every donation, share, and kind word. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with her during this fight.
