Help Jane stay afloat while fighting lung cancer
Our dear Jane Yoon is about to start the fight of her life.
Jane is an extremely devoted mom to her energetic and sweet 4-year-old daughter, and a self-employed housecleaner known for her tireless work ethic, warm spirit, and kind heart. She's always been the kind of person who shows up for others — now it’s time we show up for her.
Earlier this month, Jane was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Her doctors have recommended an aggressive treatment plan involving intensive chemotherapy. This kind of treatment takes a serious toll — physically, emotionally, and financially.
Because Jane is self-employed, she doesn't have the safety net of paid time off, medical leave, or short-term disability benefits. Without the ability to work during her treatment, she will have a massive gap in income. On top of the frightening medical challenges she's facing, we worry that she will also struggle to pay for the basics: rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation to and from chemo appointments, etc.
We’re raising funds to help cover Jane’s essential monthly bills so she can focus on her health and being present for her little girl without the constant stress of financial survival. Every dollar you give will go directly to helping Jane keep her home, keep the lights on, and keep food on the table during this incredibly difficult time.
Our goal is to raise $7000+ to cover several months of bills, giving Jane the breathing room she needs to heal.
Whether you can donate $5 or $500, every bit helps. If you aren’t able to contribute financially right now, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. Thank you in advance!
Let's lift up Jane with the love, dignity, and support she deserves and rally around her and her daughter as she fights this battle.
