<div>Jane is an extremely devoted mom to her energetic and sweet 4-year-old daughter, and a self-employed housecleaner known for her tireless work ethic, warm spirit, and kind heart. She's always been the kind of person who shows up for others — now it’s time we show up for her.

<div>Earlier this month, Jane was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Her doctors have recommended an aggressive treatment plan involving intensive chemotherapy. This kind of treatment takes a serious toll — physically, emotionally, and financially.

<div>Because Jane is self-employed, she doesn't have the safety net of paid time off, medical leave, or short-term disability benefits. Without the ability to work during her treatment, she will have a massive gap in income. On top of the frightening medical challenges she's facing, we worry that she will also struggle to pay for the basics: rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation to and from chemo appointments, etc.
