Support Janae & Willie's Surrogacy Journey

Hi Everyone,

We are Janae and Willie! We are sharing a very personal part of our lives with the hopes this will lead us into growing our family. We have spent the past 8 years building a beautiful life together. Since we got married 3 years ago, we have been trying to grow our family.

Just before we got married, Janae learned she had a unicornuate uterus. For those that don’t know, a unicornuate uterus is a congenital irregularity where one only has one fallopian tube and an abnormally shaped uterine cavity. It is a very rare condition that often causes pregnancy complications. We were informed that this can make it more difficult to become pregnant or stay pregnant. We were devastated by this news but remained positive and hopeful that we would have the family we dreamed of!

In the past 3 years, we were blessed to have 3 pregnancies, but those unfortunately resulted in miscarriages. Each miscarriage has been difficult for us to navigate, but we are thankful to have 3 little blessings in heaven that we think of every day.

We have consulted with several fertility doctors, and they have expressed that it would be difficult for Janae to carry a pregnancy to full-term. It has been recommended for us to pursue surrogacy as the best path forward. We strongly desire to have a Baby Wiley here with us and are fully embracing the surrogacy process. Surrogacy is a beautiful journey but comes with its own financial and emotional challenges. Out-of-pocket costs add up quickly, including IVF transfers, medical costs, legal fees, and several other unexpected costs. The cost can vary, but it can be around $50,000-$60,000. While we are doing everything we can to prepare financially for this journey, we are asking for the support of our loved ones to help us!
