Support James and Julia's Family in Crisis

I am Peter Wilger, and James and Julia are my niece and nephew. They are going through a financial crisis due to James' multiple sclerosis and new neurological symptoms that have left him unable to work. They have four children: Dillon, 13; Connor, 11; Finn, 7; and Fiona, 4. Until December of 2024, James was working as a registered nurse contracted as a rural emergency room nurse in northwest Iowa and, along with Julia, was able to support their family. Since December, James has lost the ability to walk much more than 15 feet and uses a walker at home, has to use a wheelchair outside of the home, and gets easily fatigued. He cannot work, and Julia has to help James and has increased her hours as a physical therapist. As you can imagine, bills are mounting. They currently have a $6500 credit card bill and will need $3000 to pay for Dillon's braces in the near future and medical treatment is $1,200 a month.
