Support James and Carinda in Their Time of Struggle

Hi, my name is Alexandria and this is my mom and dad, James and Carinda Worley.

They have always been a light to those around them, especially to those in need. My parents have been in the ministry for several years and do their best to reach out to everyone in the community and share the love of the Lord. Every Saturday you might see them and their church family handing out free bibles as they try to spread the gospel and Light of Christ. As anyone they have had their share of struggles through the years especially with my mom being diagnosed with CRPS a little over 20 years ago. For those of you who don’t know what CRPS is, which is also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, is a very painful disease. The pain is often described as a severe burning or stabbing sensation. The affects of this disease don’t stop at pain. It also affects your nervous system, your brain, your digestive system, and many more organs and many other symptoms that come along with this disease. As my mom has had this disease for so long she suffers the many, many, many affects of this disease and the disease has spread almost to her whole body and organs. Her disease has progressed so much that the many pain meds she has to be on just to live through the day has no longer helped. Most days lately she had not been able to get out of bed let alone move without getting sick, and not being able to eat due to not being able to hold anything down cause of digestive and stomachs issues from the disease.

As my mom has been going through all this my dad has been her rock being there for her and doing whatever he can for her. It has definitely been especially hard on him watching her suffer through all this especially this last year or so as it’s just been really hard on her.

These last couple of years have been especially hard for them both! First, with them finding out they have mold toxicity, having to move out of their house with nothing in hand except the clothes on their backs because it's completely toxic from black mold, continuing to battle legally about this matter for almost 2 years and not getting anywhere, living in their church, my mom's CRPS disease continuing to progressively get worse, and the list goes on.

But the most recent, my mom has had to have surgery due to her disease. She had to go have a pain pump put in just yesterday. Surgery did go well, but she didn't come out of the anesthesia very well and isn't able to walk at the moment, so my dad is having to be her legs and help her with a lot of things.

As their daughter, it has been very difficult watching them struggle and go through all these things, and hardly anyone is willing to help them. I do what I can when I can, but I'm a busy mother to 4 babies at home and two bonus children, plus being a wife, so I'm not always able to help as much as I would like. I do know that they are struggling financially and needing help! Even though they wouldn't ask, I am asking for them! Please help as much as you can!! These funds will be used to help with bills and living costs!
