Support Jamal and Joud's deserving journey toward Safety

Hello dear ones. I would like you to meet a special family dear to my heart. Please read about them and let’s come together in the name of humanity for these beautiful children. They deserve the support, love and tending just like all children. Thank you and I love you all! Here is their dear mother and her words and some of their story. Together we can make a difference!

Hi world, we are the twins Jamal and Joud.

Please read this as if we are a member of your family, maybe your sister, daughter, or a friend, and as if my family, who's under death now, is yours.

Our names are Jamal and Joud Hammad, 8 years old, in the second grade, with beautiful dreams and a nice future, but we found ourselves losing our city and losing any hope of a better future. The war had another idea. We were a beautiful family consisting of a father, mother, two brothers, and one sister. We lived the most beautiful life ever until the war came. We lost in this war the most precious thing we had as a result of the occupation’s bombing of our house, the house in which we grew up and spent our childhood. And with it, all our dreams, our textbooks, our clothes, and toys were gone. We lost my martyr aunt, my uncle, his son, and many members of our family.

Today, we are displaced since 11/11/2023. It was in Mawasi Khan Yunis. We live in tents that are scorching hot during the summer and bitterly cold during the winter, with no proper covers or clothes. We are without a home, without income, and have lost everything we owned, in addition to the lack of orthotics with which we can live and no sustenance for the day.

Our beautiful little brother, who is 3 years old, the occupation deprived him of all his rights in life and he also suffered a lot in this war and was very sad. I pray for his recovery.

We created this account to receive donations to rebuild our dreams and life and restore our destroyed home again and live safely like the rest of the people in the world.

Do we deserve all this sadness... all this violence? This is what happened to us and what we suffer every day. If you think we need help, please don’t delay.
