In the wake of Storm Melissa, our community in Ocho Rios and the wider St. Ann area is facing significant challenges. While we are grateful that Jamaica Inn itself has weathered the storm safely, many in our extended community — including team members, their families, and local schools — have experienced damage to homes and essential infrastructure.
The Jamaica Inn Foundation is committed to helping rebuild and restore stability for those most affected. Your donation will allow us to:
- Provide direct assistance to staff and community members whose homes or livelihoods were impacted by the storm.
- Support local schools in repairing damage and replacing supplies so students can return to safe, functional learning environments.
- Strengthen ongoing community resilience and environmental restoration, including our partnerships with the White River Fish Sanctuary and other conservation initiatives affected by the storm.

Our Mission
The Jamaica Inn Foundation is dedicated to uplifting the Ocho Rios and St. Ann community through focused initiatives in three key areas:
- Education & Well-being of Youth — Supporting local schools and providing scholarships and training opportunities for children of our team and the wider community.
- Community Partnerships & Charitable Support — Working with local organisations and institutions to strengthen wellbeing and infrastructure in our neighbourhood.
- Marine & Environmental Preservation — Protecting the coastline, reefs, and turtle-nesting programmes that are vital to our ecosystem and heritage.
