Jakki has been a lifeline for so many families in our community. Through her work in animal search and rescue, she has given countless hours helping people find their missing pets, offering comfort, guidance, and hands-on support when they needed it most. Many of you know her because she helped bring your animals home.

Now Jakki and her children are facing a crisis of their own. They have been moved into a hotel in two small rooms, with no space and no security about what comes next. To make things even harder, she has had to leave her cats behind at the house. She travels back every day to care for them because she simply cannot abandon them.

Jakki would never ask for help for herself, which is why this page has been created.

She needs support to move her belongings into storage, feed her family, look after her cats, and make sure her children can still experience some joy this Christmas in the middle of so much uncertainty.

The community she has helped for years now has a chance to help her. Every contribution will go directly toward essential living costs, transport, food, and the practical costs of keeping her family and animals safe while she works toward more stable housing.
