Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters,

I’m writing to you today with a heavy heart to share a difficult situation our family is currently facing. As many of you know, our beloved father, Jake, passed away in August 2024. His passing left a void not only in our hearts, but in the community he served so faithfully.

Our dad was a man of compassion. He spent his life giving back—whether through helping neighbors with home repairs, volunteering his time, or simply showing up when someone was in need. He believed in the power of community, and now, we find ourselves in need of that very support.

This week, we learned that the home our father left behind—our family home—is in danger of being auctioned off due to an outstanding lien. The lien was in his name, and unfortunately, we cannot legally transfer the house into my brother Jamison’s name unless the overdue balance is paid in full.

As four siblings in our 20s—one of whom is currently in college—we are doing our best, but we simply don’t have the financial means to resolve this on our own. We’ve reached out to the loan company, and while they’ve been helpful, their hands are tied until the balance is paid.

We are asking for your help.
