Hello friends,

My father, Jake Lowther, recently had a massive stroke on his birthday after undergoing spinal surgery. The stroke has taken away his ability to use the left side of his body. The doctors have informed us that most of the damage has occurred on the right side of his brain, although the left has damage as well. We are hopeful that he will make some type of recovery eventually, but it is going to be a very long road ahead of him. He is currently still in the hospital for what is expected to be weeks until he has recovered enough to go to a rehab facility. They plan to do another surgery on him in the future to hopefully keep him from having another massive stroke. He was the primary breadwinner for his household and now they are struggling to pay their current bills and the added expenses from his hospital stay surely will not be easy either. Please, if there is anything you can do to either donate or spread the word, it would be greatly appreciated. My dad has always helped people even when he didn’t have much to give. We appreciate your support for him in such a trying time.
