UPDATE

7 months since we nearly lost our mom & dad, we want to say how grateful we are to all of you who have been able to help us. Mom & dad are working hard to be stronger - but we found out that mom has to have another big abdominal surgery because a difficulty from her emergency surgery has shown up.  Our mom & dad mean everything to us so even 1.00 or sharing this would be a blessing

Hi everyone. This is Jake and Josh Elledge. We are making this page to help our mom and dad. We almost lost both of them a day apart in May. Dad had a massive heart attack and was rushed by ambulance to the hospital and went into emergency surgery. They saved his life but also discovered strokes and that he has diabetes. The next morning our mom was rushed to the hospital by ambulance too because she had a ruptured bowel. She was also rushed into emergency surgery that saved her life. She also got sepsis and had a blood clot in her lungs. It’s been 5 months and we are so grateful that they survived. We have been thinking of what we could do to help them. They are recovering really well, but they have huge medical bills and expensive medicines to keep them healthy. So we thought we could create a fund raising page for them. We think anything can help them, so we want to thank you in advance for helping us to help our mom and dad.
