Hi,

My name is Jake Sitt. I'm just coming up on my 11 year anniversary of watching General Hospital. I've been to fan events, I've given gifts at said fan events, and I just have so much love for everyone involved. I'm a 32 year old man which makes me a demographic minority amongst the GH audience. I couldn't be prouder. With an episode every day, this show has been running parallel to my life. For example, right next to Molly and TJ asking Kristina to be the surrogate was me asking my sister to be our surrogate (she's not the falling out of a window type, but regardless, she declined).

My husband and I, Akiva Marder, are attempting to go through surrogacy right now, but it's 250K which is a scary number. I'm a special education science teacher which fills the heart, but unfortunately does not fill the wallet.

After all my years of watching, no one from the cast owes me anything. That's not what I'm saying. What I am saying is that it at the very least I've given enough love to ask.

Akiva, the FOOL, does not watch GH. He even mocks it sometimes (the NERVE), though it's every GH fan's rite of passage to have a nay sayer hovering over their shoulder secretly enchanted. Well, I dare him to say anything after seeing what all of you contribute (fingers crossed!). He'll become a fan in no time!

So General Hospital cast, this is me, asking for your help. This is me asking for any amount to help us.
