After months of pain, tests, and uncertainty, I finally received a clear diagnosis: I have a complete tear of my right pectoral tendon. While the news was tough to hear, it also brought a sense of relief—I finally have answers and a path forward.

The Road Ahead

I’m scheduled for surgery on April 16th, and while I’m grateful to be moving forward, I know the road to recovery won’t be easy. The healing process will take around 12 months, with plenty of physical therapy, rest, and patience needed to regain full strength and function.

Mi nombre es Jaime Vargas, y hoy les escribo con el corazón en la mano para compartirles una actualización importante sobre mi salud y el proceso que estoy viviendo.

Después de varios meses de dolor, estudios médicos y mucha incertidumbre, finalmente recibí un diagnóstico claro: tengo un desgarre completo del tendón pectoral derecho. Aunque fue difícil recibir esa noticia, también sentí alivio al tener por fin respuestas y un plan claro para seguir adelante.

El Camino que Me Espera

Mi cirugía está pautada para el 16 de abril. Me siento agradecido por dar este paso hacia la recuperación, pero también soy consciente de que será un proceso largo y retante. Estaré en recuperación por aproximadamente 12 meses, lo que incluye terapia física, descanso y mucha paciencia para poder recuperar mi fuerza y movilidad.
