My name is Jaiden Carpenter. I am currently seeking donations to help me complete my Eagle Scout project, which will benefit Clover Fire Protection District by providing them with a gear dryer.

When firefighters go to fires or hazardous materials incidents they need to wash their turnout gear afterwards to remove any carcinogens or harmful chemicals. After the turnout gear is washed it can take serval days for it to dry. This means that they either have to put on wet gear or ill fitting loaner gear. By providing them with a gear dryer the gear will dry faster after it is washed.

The donations will help us to purchase the materials needed to complete the project- such as wood, PVC, nails & the air dryer.
