Support Jadin's Journey to Work
Facebook Fam! I need some help.
We recently hired a great young man at Recteq several months ago. He loves it here and we love him.
His name is Jadin.
He's a good dude trying to claw his way into the American Dream. He's a hard worker and becoming a valuable member of our team here.
Turns out, he's been WALKING to work every day. From Wheeler Rd to Evans to Locks Rd. According to Google Maps, that is a 2 1/2 hour walk. Funnily enough, he's always on time, which I can't say for 25% of the people here that OWN CARS.
He suits up and shows up every day.
I don't want to get in his business or embarrass him, but he has very little money to spare at this time.
A fellow coworker is willing to part with a 2001 Lumina with 130,000 miles. It is a daily driver and in great shape. He is asking $1500.
I'm asking you guys to make this guy's life a little easier. If everyone I know chips in just a few bucks, we can provide Jadin with a car and, more importantly, give him some hope. As they say: Many hands make light work.
Help me lift this guy up a bit.
Our HR department has a "Family in Need" program that I have submitted a request to. I haven't heard back yet, but hopefully, they will pitch in as well.
If you can't donate, please share.
Thank you for your time.
