There comes a point when surviving is no longer enough.

For years, I have pieced together a living through freelance work, taking on whatever opportunities were available in order to pay bills, keep a roof over my head, and move forward. While I am grateful for the work that has sustained me, I’ve reached a place where I want something more than simply making it through another month.

I want stability.

I want the opportunity to build a future that isn’t driven by financial desperation or the constant pressure of wondering where the next paycheck will come from.

Like many people who have experienced significant adversity, I’ve spent much of my adult life rebuilding. I’ve worked hard to create a new path for myself, investing in education, personal growth, and creating a foundation for a healthier future. But building a new life takes time, and sometimes the gap between where you are and where you’re trying to go can feel impossible to cross alone.

This fundraiser is intended to help bridge that gap.

The support raised will provide temporary financial stability while I continue working toward long-term, sustainable income and a career that aligns with the life I’m trying to build. It will allow me to spend less time scrambling to survive and more time focusing on education, professional development, business growth, and creating meaningful work that can support me for years to come.

Most importantly, it will help me reduce my reliance on work that I no longer want to depend on for my financial survival.

This is not about avoiding work. I work hard, and I will continue to work hard.

This is about creating enough breathing room to make choices based on long-term goals rather than immediate necessity.
