Hi, I’m Jack Drechsler and I’m fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project which will take place Saturday, March 7th, 2026. This project focuses on restoring and preparing a heavily used area of Riverside Park in NYC at 95th St for spring planting after the winter season.

The site is located near the Clay Tennis Courts and the Compost Center, making it a key community area within the park.

The work includes removing invasive species and weed trees, turning over the soil, and removing trash to improve the health, appearance, and long term sustainability of the space. These efforts also support pollinator friendly plants that encourage bee pollination and strengthen the park's ecosystem. As the project leader, my role is to coordinate the work and support volunteers so the project runs smoothly and safely. This includes organizing materials, explaining tasks, making sure tools are used properly, and maintaining a safe work environment through clear safety guidelines and supervision.

To complete this project, I need to raise $1000.00 to cover materials, soil, and plantings. I am fundraising through GoFundMe, and any leftover funds will be donated directly to Riverside Park as the project beneficiary.
