Four weeks after Jackie’s 33rd birthday and birth of her baby boy, her world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. Jackie has endured countless rounds of chemotherapy, 7 weeks of radiation and emergency surgeries. Unfortunately, after fighting incredibly hard for over a year, Jackie's cancer metastasized and spread to her lungs. Jackie is a fighter, and she still continues to fight every day for her family. In addition to her 1-year-old son Bryce, Jackie also has an incredible 13-year-old daughter named Aubrey and a loving husband named Larry, who has been a part of the Volpe team since 2012. Larry has taken a leave from work to take care of his wife and children during this difficult time. Because of Jackie’s limited mobility, we are looking to update her bathroom at the beginning of January to make it easier to access, and safer to use. This update would include creating a more accessible shower area, along with updating other bathroom fixtures.
With your help, we aim to raise $12,500 by January 1st. This will help cover a portion of the costs associated with the bathroom renovation.
