Hello everyone! My name is Kaitlyn Pretli and I am starting a go fund me to assist my best friend, Jaci Van Altena.

Jaci was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia while on her trip in New Zealand. This was quite unexpected news, and cut Jaci's journey to New Zealand and neighbouring countries short. Jaci will be starting her chemotherapy in the next upcoming week at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. Jaci has decided to freeze her eggs as the chemotherapy may affect her ability to have children. Jaci has already spent extensive money on abrupt travel costs, medications, and fertility hormones.

I am asking for help from our friends, family, and anyone who is able to provide something even if small, to assist with these ongoing costs.
