Let's help our school families facing food insecurity by donating gift cards for food and necessities!

Many of the children in our school community will be unable to access enough food as we head into the holidays given the pause in disbursement of federal SNAP benefits and other barriers. Food pantries have stated that they will not be able to fill the gap, so I am looking for ways to help and I'm sure others are as well!

Providing gift cards for food and necessities to families in need would be a great way to assist those facing food insecurity. So, I have put together a GoFundMe account and invite you to contribute! With whatever donations we receive, I'll buy gift cards to Jewel/Walmart/similar and coordinate with the school to ensure they get into the hands of school families in need.
