My name is Issy Vine. I am a former Metropolitan Police staff member and whistleblower.
I never wanted to be a campaigner — but what I witnessed inside the police misconduct system left me with no choice.
I saw racism, misogyny, dishonesty, and misconduct being minimised or hidden.
I saw evidence go missing.
I saw victims dismissed.
I saw a colleague call a rape victim a “slut” — and be rehired.
I saw how the public are kept in the dark about what really happens behind the scenes.
These failures aren’t accidents.
They are symptoms of a system built on secrecy, narrative management, and zero accountability.
And that is why I drafted Isabelle’s Law — a full legislative proposal to bring real transparency to police misconduct, protect the public, and restore trust.
But right now, I am campaigning for this entirely on my own.
No organisation behind me.
No funding.
No resources.
Just determination, lived experience, and Canva.
To take this campaign to the next level — to get Isabelle’s Law in front of MPs, human rights organisations, journalists, and the public — I need help.
Isabelle’s Law would:
stop forces from issuing misleading statements
require transparency around misconduct decisions
protect evidence from being altered or hidden
strengthen public oversight
protect whistleblowers
make misconduct outcomes clear and accessible
rebuild trust in policing through honesty
put victims at the centre, not behind the scenes
This isn’t anti-police.
It’s pro-truth.
It’s pro-public safety.
It’s pro-integrity.
A transparent police service protects everyone — including good officers and staff.
This funding will help me build an official, national campaign for the law, including:
Campaign materials & printing (MP packs, briefings, summaries)
Website & hosting for Isabelle’s Law
Travel to Parliament, events, and meetings
Professional policy and legal review
Campaign launch event and outreach
Media preparation & communications
Volunteer coordination
Public education materials
Design, branding, and accessibility resources
Every pound will go directly into raising the visibility, credibility and reach of Isabelle’s Law.
I have taken this campaign as far as I can alone.
But real legislative change requires:
a public voice
visibility
professional materials
sustained pressure
political engagement
organisational support
This GoFundMe allows me to take Isabelle’s Law from a draft Bill…
…to a national movement demanding truth and accountability.

Your voice matters more than you know.
I blew the whistle because I believed the public deserved the truth.
I’m campaigning now because the system won’t fix itself.
And I’m asking for your support because together we can transform a broken process into something safe, transparent, and fair.
Thank you for believing in this campaign.
Thank you for believing in accountability.
And thank you for standing with me in the fight for honest policing.
