Help Isaac Transition to Full-Time Service at AMEN House

For years, Isaac ran a very successful custom tile & flooring business, creating high-end work for beautiful homes, but his heart began to pull him in a different direction.
It started when Isaac began volunteering his time and talent at the AMEN House food pantry. He even joined the building committee to help the organization grow. The more time he spent there, the more he loved it. Whenever we worked together, we would talk about how you could truly feel God’s presence at the AMEN House.
Recently, the position of Food Pantry Coordinator and COO became available. After a lot of prayer, Isaac felt called to apply. This is a demanding role that requires nearly all of his time and attention, as he is now responsible for the thousands of pounds of food moving in and out to feed thousands of people in Scott County each month.

Talk about a Leap of Faith... Accepting this position meant Isaac had to walk away from his Successful business and take a massive 60% pay cut. To put that in perspective, imagine trying to survive on just 40% of your current income. For Isaac and his family, this is a major income change all to serve total strangers in need.

Why We Are Raising Funds
The hardest part of this "leap of faith" is the immediate transition. While Isaac has moved into this role quickly to meet the urgent needs of the AMEN House, his previous financial obligations from his old life didn't disappear overnight. He and his family made this decision to be pleasing to God and to help end hunger in our community, but they need a bridge to get through this adjustment period.
I have volunteered alongside Isaac for a couple of years now and can tell you firsthand: he has a heart of gold. He is a man whose tears flow freely for the hungry and homeless people he helps every day. He is on a mission, and while he may not see the full path forward yet, he knows God does.

How You Can Help
Every dollar donated will go directly to Isaac and his family (minus the small GoFundMe transaction fees) to help them cover their bills while they transition to this new, modest income.
I pray that God puts it on your heart to be generous to someone who gives so much of himself. I pray that your families are blessed and that your generosity returns to you in health and wealth.
Thank you for being part of Isaac’s story and for supporting someone who is dedicated to feeding Scott County.
