Support Isaac and Raquel's Adoption Journey

Isaac, Raquel, and Solomon here with some big news. WE’RE ADOPTING!!!

Our journey in growing our family has been full of beautiful and hard seasons, all of which we are grateful for because it has ultimately led us here, now. Adoption is a calling God placed in our hearts long before Isaac and I even met and has continued to speak to us over the last 13 years of our relationship. And though we are so grateful to begin this process and we look forward to the day we get to bring another child into our family, we acknowledge that adoption is a heavy and complex process. Children are meant to be with their parents. But because we live in a broken world it doesn’t always get to be that way. That’s why we are SO thankful that we serve a REDEEMING God who takes what is broken and brings healing, beauty and wholeness. We get excited about adoption because it is a tangible example of a KINGDOM reality that we get to be a part of! Adoption is so close to the heart of Jesus and it’s one of the ways we get to be like Him.

After several months of meetings, training, and paperwork, we are nearing the end of our home study process in pursuit of domestic, infant adoption. We are working with a smaller, private agency that is significantly less expensive than many other private agencies. However, we are still looking at a remainder of approximately $18,000 in fees. God has already provided for us in miraculous ways and we trust He will continue to do so!

If you feel led to give towards our adoption journey we would be so grateful! However, we know that times are tough right now for everyone and if you can’t give in this way, we completely understand. We know that God has called us to this and know He will provide for our needs..whether it’s through the people around us, more work opportunities, or some other way we’re totally not expecting.

MOST of all, we ask for prayer as we look ahead to many unknowns! We are so blessed to have such an incredible community of friends, near and far who have supported us and prayed for us through so many of life’s ups and downs! We are grateful for each and every one of you!
