Support Irina & Family

Hi Team,

We've probably all seen the devastating images and videos of the war in Ukraine and heard the heartbreaking stories of all refugees. Across Europe there are many organizations and governments working hard to be able to adopt all of the Ukrainians that left their country and luckily there are lots of initiatives and fundraisings happening already.

Today we're asking your (financial) support for one of our Team mates, Irina Pannochka. Irina is Ukrainian and working for Nike and living in the Netherlands for 8 years already together with her two children. Her family still lives in the Ukraine but luckily she was able to bring them over to her place here in Hilversum, the Netherlands last Saturday. Both of here parents, her brother and sister in law and the neighbors of her parents together with 2 children (13 year old boy and 5 year old girl) are currently staying at her place.

Next to the people that are already here Irina is also trying to make it possible for other Ukrainians, mainly women with their children, to come over to NL to find a safe spot and survive the war. All of these people left everything they owned and loved behind and came with just a few bags and some money which is of course just enough to cover for the first few days. As you can imagine the last few weeks and days have been very traumatizing for all of them.

As a team we will do everything to support Irina, her family and all the Ukrainian people she's taking care of. Housing, healthcare, insurance, schooling, groceries, she's figuring out already and of course we will help her with that. We're reaching out to you today because there is something you can support Irina with : a financial contribution. Irina, like probably all Ukrainians, is a very proud person that takes all responsibility on her own, like she did when raising both of her children by herself, and she will never ask for money herself. That is why we're reaching out to you today via this fundraising. Please support Irina and all of the refugees she's taking care of. They deserve our care and support!
