My name is Tommy Durbino. I've been Irene Harrison Chandler's partner for the past decade plus. The last couple of years have not been kind to Irene. Her memory began to slip a couple of years ago and declined rapidly from there. MRIs concluded that there was brain atrophy which cannot be reversed. After being tested and assessed, she was diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's. I was her caretaker, and she became more dependent on me for her everyday needs. Long story short, she has moved into a memory care facility in San Antonio.

I'm sure some of you know that care in that form is expensive. Her income is limited, and Medicare only pays so much. So I thought I would give the GoFundMe page a chance to help with those expenses.
